The perfect breakfast Valentines Day food - a HEART-y breakfast made with lots of heart! This Valentines Day breakfast is perfect for showing your Valentine and family how much you care for them without putting in a ton of work to make it.
Defrost frozen tater tots - 4 for each heart worked for me to create a nice thin hashbrown. If you use more, you might need to make a minute or two longer.
Smush the tatertots into your silicone heart mold. I found that smushing them together and then pressing to make a solid disk worked best to ensure they didn’t break after baking.
Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown in a 350 degree oven.
Crack eggs into your mold, season with salt and pepper if desired.
Bake for 8-12 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Cut slices of thick bacon in half. Then cut your halved down the center lengthwise, leaving connected by about .5 of an inch at the base.
Place into your silicone molds - the connected part should be the bottom of your heart, and the ends of each side should wrap to create a heart shape before over lapping at the top.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 12-15 minutes. This really depends on your desired ‘doneness’, but either way keep a close eye on them from the 10 minute mark on.
Timing:
Add your bacon and hashbrowns first and bake for about 5 minutes before adding your eggs. This will ensure everything is done around the same time. Check in 5 minutes to make sure you don't over cook anything and then about once a minute after that.
