These Easter books for kids are a fun way to share quality time with your littles this spring. From tales about decorating eggs to scavenger hunts to spending time with family, you’ll love these kids’ Easter books.
Easter baskets stuffers can be fun, but they tend to be filled to the brim with junk and candy.
Easter Books for Kids are Perfect for Baskets!
While that’s fun the day of, nothing is worse than telling your kiddo for a week that they can’t have that giant chocolate bunny. Except maybe picking up all of the broken junk toys that were in the basket.
One of my favorite things to put into my kids’ baskets are books! I like to splurge on a nice one they’ll love for each and every holiday.
Just like with my Valentine’s Day books for kids post, I’m back to share some of the cutest Easter kids books.
The Hoppiest Easter Books for Kids
Pete the Cat: Big Easter Adventure.
Anyone else have a Pete the Cat Lover? My boys adore the little blue kitty, so this will definitely be a win!
The Story of the Easter Bunny.
Your kids know that the Easter Bunny comes with treats to fill baskets. But do they know the story of where he is from or why he does what he does?
God Gave Us Easter.
If you’re looking for a book centered more on the meaning of Easter, this is it. This one is about a little polar bear talking to his dad about what the season means.
Happy Easter, Mouse!
This book is a continuation of the adorable “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie..” series. Mouse is going on an egg hunt to figure out who is hiding the eggs. This board book teaches colors and counting so it’s perfect for littles.
Marshmallow.
This is an adorable story about a tabby cat named Oliver and a bunny named Marshmallow. It’s a true story and has beautiful illustrations. It’s not explicitly an Easter book for kids, but bunnies. But all the better, as it will be perfect all year long.
How to Catch the Easter Bunny.
If you like the St. Patrick’s Day book, How to Catch a Leprechaun, you’ll love this one! The concept is the same – how do you catch the Easter bunny on his busiest day of the year?!
Little Blue Truck’s Springtime
The Little Blue Truck books are some of my boys’ favorites. This springtime version takes you through all of the sights and sounds of Spring!
Happy Easter, Little Critter
Who else loved the Little Critter books as a kid?! This one follows Little Critter as he does all of your kiddo’s favorite Easter things. From decorating eggs to looking for his Easter basket.
Easter Bugs : A Springtime Pop-up
I’m not a huge fan of pop-up books. My kids tear them apart and then I just chuck them out. BUT this one is so cute, that it’s worth keeping out of kid’s reach when you’re not reading it.
Pinkalicious: Eggstraordinary Easter
My niece adores the Pinkalicious series of books. This one is extra adorable! Here, the Easter Bunny sends Pinkalicous on a fun scavenger hunt to find their goodies. Bonus – it comes with stickers!
So, tell me – would your kids like a book in their Easter baskets? Let me know in the comments!
