- This is Halloween – I am a huge fan of the Nightmare Before Christmas, so I love this spooky jam.
- Monster Mash – Bobby Pickett. Pretty sure you can’t have a Halloween Songs for Kids post without this one on the list!
- Superstition – Stevie Wonder. This is such an earworm but totally worthy. Teach your kids the classics while still getting in the mood.
- Heads Will roll – Yeah Yeah Yeahs. This one is such a fun song to dance around to, and while it is a spooky jam (I mean, decapitation.) it’s not graphic or gruesome.

Werewolves of London – Warren Zevon. Kiddos will love howling to this fun and spooky Halloween song.

Zombie – Cranberries. An old classic, it would be silly not to add this song with a spooky theme.

- Time Warp – In highschool I had an obsession with Rocky Horror Picture Show. My kids find the music video for the time warp absolutely hilarious.
- Demons – Imagine Dragons. Less holiday, but still a fun, slightly spooky song perfect for Halloween.
- Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead – Ella Fitzgerald. You know this one from the Wizard of Oz, but the Ella Fitzgerald version is great.
- I Put a Spell On You — Bette Midler. For all of my Sanders Sisters fans, you’ll appreciate this Bette Classic. Or try out the original by Nina Simone.
The Addams Family Theme — Vic Mizzy. My kid love this because it went with a song from preschool, but kids generally love this easy and catchy song.
She Wolf — Shakira. Who doesn’t love the idea of a lady werewolf coming out when the moon is full!
The Purple People Eater — Sheb Wooley. This is a classic from my childhood and my kids laugh hysterically listening to this silly song.
Witchy Woman — The Eagles. This old school rock song for kids is perfectly Witchy for a Halloween song.
