First and foremost, Happy Mother’s Day to all of you mommas! I hope you have the most wonderful day with the most important little (or big!) people in your life!
Since it’s Mother’s Day, I figured today would be as good of a day as ever to do another In the Life of Boys post. In the Life of Boys is a new series on the blog where I post photos and stories about the boys – adorable tidbits, fun firsts, silly things they say or do. It’s a fun way for me to be able to look back at what they did when and I think it’s a fun way for you all to get an inside glance at the boys. You can see last mont’s ITLoB here!
Ryan has been getting so much cuddlier with each week. He used to be too jumpy and hyper (okay, he is still beyond jumpy and hyper) but now, every once in a while he’ll either sit with me, crawl into my lap, or lay with me. I love this picture of him laying in my lap and playing with one of his trucks.
I mean.. could life get any sweeter? Ryan loves his baby brother. He’s always trying to kiss him and pet him (okay so he might not quite see the difference between O and the animals.) and it just makes my momma heart explode.
I so wish this wasn’t so blurry but I had to share either way. Owen does this crazy little stretch routine once I unswaddle him and start to change him and it kills me every time.
Another blurry one (the car was moving). Sorry. Ryan often falls asleep with his hands behind his hand behind his head, and the other day coming home from the zoo he tried to do the same thing in his car seat. Kid kills me.
I swear I’m not creepy, but I couldn’t resist taking these sleeping Ryan the other day during his nap.
O love, love, loves taking a bath. Even days when he’s super fussy, he’ll immediately calm down and just chill. Until it’s time to get out and the not so happy.
Ryan’s been loving putting on our shoes and walking around the house. Which is funny, since I can’t do anything in my power to get him to keep shoes on normally.
If you saw my post on Friday you saw the picture of Ryan breaking rules by using his truck to climb in to the changing table. And I said I would share the aftermath today. I might share mostly adorbs baby pics and smiling toddlers, but it sure as you know what isn’t always sunshine and daisies over here at the Wieboldt household.
Owen had his first real “starts in the eyes, fills up your face” smile the other day and I melted. I’ve been trying to get it on camera, but true to his nickname, the World’s Most Serious Baby refuses.
I just have no words. These two.
That’s all I have for you all today! I hope you all enjoy your day, all you mommas out there take a damn nap, and I’ll see you back here tomorrow!
In the Life of Boys – Happy Memorial Day!

I LOVE these posts! Yay for Ryan being more and more cuddly – it always melts your heart when little ones are just happy to snuggle but I imagine even moreso when they’re your own!
You are one lucky mama! <3 xo
