These leaf songs for kids are perfect tunes for fall! Kiddos will love singing and learning about the multicolored beauty that comes from the trees all around us. These songs are perfect for singing at home or in the classroom to help kids understand the concept of leaves.
Living in the North East, one of the only redeeming facts of cooler weather for me is the changing leaves. The colors are so pretty and where we live, we’re surrounded by trees on all sides. This means my house becomes a gorgeous little sutumn sanctuary!
So while I generally prefer songs about summer and all the warmth that comes with the season, it’s hard not to also play some songs for my kiddos about the falling leaves. Bonus: these leaf songs can also help teach littles about the changing seasons!

10 Leaf Songs for Kids to Listen to This Fall
Today I’m sharing my favorite songs celebrating colorful leaves and the season that brings them.
Autumn Leaves are Falling Down
My favorite part about this song is that it has text overlay for the lyrics, so I can easily guide my kiddos to sing with me. It goes to the tune of “London Bridge is Falling Down”
Bonus, it’s on Amazon music so my kiddos can listen in their room on their Echo Dot.

The Leaf Song
This song is great because it teaches kids all about leaves and plants and how they work – not just how they change colors and fall. It explains solar energy and oxygen as well as roots and water. It’s a fun way to introduce kids to a confusing concept.
Leaf Little Leaf
This one is a super calm, sweet song about leaves that could easily be used as a modern song to sing to baby this fall, or as a good calm down song for kids. The bunny goes on to sing about how leaves fall in a soothing, calm tone and lullaby style.
How Many Leaves?
While it might drive you crazy that this fall song goes to the tune of a Christmas option (Up on the Roofton) when we’re not far from being bombarded by these songs, I still like this option. It helps kids identify colors and count, which is perfect if you’re using these leaf songs for toddlers or preschoolers.
Fall Song for Kids
Kids will love this upbeat option that is fun to dance to. It’s also created with the intention of learning English as a Second LAnguage (the channels’ specialty) so it’s great for learning words.
Leaves on the Trees
Another The Learning Station option, this one goes to the tun of “The Wheels on thee Bus” but instead teaches kids different sensory experiences leaves have. An example is – “the leaves on the ground go crunch crunch crunch,” an experience all kids enjoy!
