Okay, So I’m going to start a Friday chant, and you all are going to join in from home, okay? Fri-day, Fri-day, Fri-day, Fri-day! You guys all did that with me, right? Right.
So it’s Friday. (and I’m in looooooveeee -okay, I need sleep.) Thank you all for your kind words and for not rolling your eyes about my complaining about sleep. I know it’s one of those things that comes with the momma territory, but try telling my body that. My mind if very accepting, but my body is as stubborn as Ryan. Which is very, very stubborn. Plus, the weather has been hot and/or stormy which just makes me feel even more tired.
It’s also the last Friday of July, which is kind of trippy – where did this month go? Okay, exhaustion, weather, and time going too fast – I am so thankful for all of you who read this blog because man, I can be cliche and boring sometimes.
Yesterday we decided to hit the town and go to a favorite of ours for lunch -Jose Tejas! I usually get fajitas (If you go, just order that. I swear, you’ll thank me.) but since I’m still avoiding all fun things, I felt it was a waste of money since I can’t have rice, beans or flour tortillas. Instead, I got a steak fajita salad and omg so good. Also, we got Ryan a (kid’s) chicken fajita and for less than $5 it would have filled me up. Alex gave him a tortilla and without prompting,he started making his own little taco and I couldn’t stop laughing. It contained some French fries, a tomato chunk, and a single chicken piece, but he folded it and ate it the proper way. #ThingsOnlyAMomCanBeProudOf. I love this place because it’s super kitschy and covered from top to bottom in string lights and cool signs.
I’m dead over these glasses I forgot I had. I bought them for Ryan who wore them maybe 2.5 seconds and I want to try and get Owen to wear them more to get him used to them. Plus, how cute?
