Happy Friday, party people! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? We were planning on a trip to the beach but now the weather is looking icky so I’m not sure what we should do now. We’re pretty good at winging it, so I’m not worried. TBH the boys are kind of cooky this week, so I’m just kind of hoping they calm down a bit.. Anyway, it’s FRIDAY which means we talk about favorites, yes? Let’s get to it!
Over here, we like to call Fridays FRiYAYs! [ad] Partially because, hello, weekend, but also because FRiYAYs on Disney Junior mean ALL NEW episodes of Ryan’s favorite shows – especially Puppy Dog Pals. He’s a huge fan of all things dog, but these 2 adorable pugs have won him over the most – okay, so I’m a big fan of Bingo and Rolly too. We love sitting together on Friday mornings and watching what kind of crazy missions the pups will go on to please their owner, Bob. As you all probably know by now, I love making simple, fun food for the boys, so I made these adorable little ‘Pupperoni’ and cheese mini pizzas with FRiYAY and Puppy Dog Pals in mind. They’re super simple to make – just mini bagels, pizza sauce, cheese, and 2 sizes of pepperoni. (You could also use salami if your kids aren’t into spicy, just use circle cookie cutters or a pair of scissors to cut to shape) Watch the video above and grab the simple recipe below! . -Spread about 1 tablespoon of sauce on each bagel half. . -Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese. . -Lay down 1 large pepperoni slice and 4 mini slices to make a paw print. . -Bake at 350 for about 5 minutes until completely melted. . -Cool slightly before enjoying while watching your favorite pups! @DisneyJunior #DisneyJuniorFRiYAY . . . . . . . . #myunicornlife #easyrecipes #flashesofdelight #pursuepretty #thatsdarling #easymeal #funkidfood #funfood #funwithkids #creativefood #preschoolEATS #buzzfeedfood #disneymom #bhgfood #disneyjunior #puppydogpals #makingmealsfun #thedarlingmovement #mybeautifulmess #creativehappylife #thehappynow #njmom #ig_motherhood #buzzfeast #buzzfeedeats #momlife #buzzfeedtasty #toddlerapproved
My first video! I’ve never done any videos for the blog, but I recently worked with Disney Junior to create little Pupperoni and cheese mini pizzas to celebrate the TV show Puppy Dog Pals. I’d love if you’d check it out!
This cart. (except not really.) You guys, I had no idea what I was thinking when I told Ryan that he could ride in this stupid cart. This. Stupid. Cart. I couldn’t even turn in it. It kept the boys (mostly) happy but jeeze louise. Never again. But it was kind of cute, so, there’s that.
The cutest little police dog. My MIL got Ry this little sweatshirt a while ago but this week the mornings have been really cool. Ryan’s been demanding I put it on him every morning and it kills me.
Facebook. IDK guys. I usually really hate Facebook – it’s a total time suck. But I’ve been making a conscious effort to work on my blog Facebook (and my private FB group, Building Momfidence – have you joined?!) It’s starting to become less of a chore and way more fun – though, I still think that FB is a total time suck and I end up looking into the lives of people I’ve never even met and could go on for days…
Getting Ry in the kitchen. Ryan is so into the kitchen lately – he always wants to ‘stir’ or ‘cook’. We’re trying to teach him the kitchen rules (mostly, stay the heck away from the stove..) but he still really wants to hang out and help. Last weekend we showed him how to make cinnamon bread as a snack and he was so pumped. I’d love some more tips on how to do this more!
Alright, that’s it for today, my friends. I sense a meltdown coming so I’m out! Let me know in the comments what fun things you have planned this weekend!
