Here are best fire truck toys for kids. If you have a toddler in your life who loves firefighter toys, this is the gift guide for you. All of the toys here are perfect for toddlers, but also will grow with the kids as well. So, you can rest assured that these fire truck toys won’t end up in the donate bin in 6 months.

Last year for Halloween, Ryan wanted nothing more than to be a firefighter. He talked about it for months. Being the extra mom I am I went all out. Owen was a fire dog, Ryan a firefighter complete with homemade fire truck boxtume! I was “a hot mess”, because, duh.

Because my boys love truck toys, we’re always looking for the best fire truck toys for kids. Ideally, I always make sure the gifts I get the boys will grow with them.

The Best Fire Trucks for Toddlers – the best fire truck toys for kids

Fire Engine Truck Pop-up Play Tent

My girlfriend bought this for Ryan’s second birthday and he still loves it. We keep it at my dad’s since it needs a lot of floor space but it does fold up.

Green Toys Fire Truck

We’ve had this fire truck toy for 4 years AND it was a hand-me-down. It’s still in perfect condition. It’s pretty basic, but I love that this toy really encourages kids to use their imaginations. I would say it is probably my recommendation for “best fire truck toy”.

Fireman Costume Firefighter with Real Water hooting Extinguisher

Halloween left me with this costume. This set is awesome and for all ages – nothing super small to choke on. The fire extinguisher actually shoots real water if you want it to. Bonus: it’s washable for when your kiddo inevitably decides he needs to eat/sleep/bathe in it.

Paw Patrol Marshall Fire Engine Ride-On

Chances are, you’re probably well versed in all things Paw Patrol and the fire pup, Marshall. If your firefighter lover is also “ready for the ruff ruff rescue!” then he will LOVE this ride on toy. It’s not super expensive, like other Paw Patrol toys, which is a huge bonus.

Jumbo Soft and Squeezable Fire Truck

If you’re looking for fire trucks for toddlers on the younger side of 1, this is the best bet. Not only does it have lights and sounds but it’s soft and squishable! So when your kiddo inevitably slams it on his feet/hands/the dog, no lasting damage will be of issue.

Fisher-Price Little People Lift ‘n Lower Fire Truck

Little People toys are always a win in the toddler crew. Look at any preschool or pediatrician’s office and you’ll probably find a huge stash of them. This toy is perfect for kid of all ages, and will definitely last a while. They’re super durable so it will stand the test of time.

Ride On Fire Truck – Wooden Push and Pull Walker Cart

This wooden ride on is super cute and looks really durable. It is also a push toy, so your toddler can practice balance and walking! I love that it has a few other activities for littles to play, like holes and blocks for motor skills.

VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Fire Command Rescue Center Playset

My boys love the VTech Go! Go! series of toys. This set teaches the letter ‘F’, and can connect with any other the other Go! Go! track sets so you could easily ask for a few different sets from family members. It’s rated from ages 1-5 and I can say my boys (2 and 4) both still fight over them.

LEGO DUPLO My First Fire Truck

We love LEGO now that the boys are older and I wish I had gotten them DUPLOS when they were younger. These are relatively inexpensive and a great intro to LEGO.

Manhattan Toy Fire Truck Wooden Pull Along Activity Toy Shape Sorter

Get rid of the boring dog/cat/duck pull toys and trade it in for this super cute fire truck version. Complete with a string for little hands to pull along the house! It has fun little activities as well, to keep little interested, like a shape sorter on one side.

Okay so tell me – does your kid love fire trucks? Do you have someone in your life who would love these fire truck toys for kids? Let me know in the comments!
