If you hate cleaning your bathroom, you’re going to love this hack for how to clean your bathroom in less than 10 minutes. Don’t waste a minute, keep reading!

Is it just me, or do you also dread cleaning your bathroom? I don’t know what it is – just the fact that it’s generally more gross, there’s more to clean in less space, or that I used totally different cleaners in there, but whenever I think about cleaning my bathroom I roll my eyes. No thanks.

Since I hate cleaning the bathroom, I’ve taught myself to clean it as fast as humanly possible – in fact, I’ve figured out how to clean the entire bathroom in less than 10 minutes! Today I’m going to share with you all the exact order of steps I take to clean your bathroom in less than 10 minutes!

If you hate cleaning your bathroom, you're going to love this hack for how to clean your bathroom in less than 10 minutes. Don't waste a minute, keep reading!

Clean Your Bathroom in Less Than 10 Minutes

1. Before you even start, make sure you get everything together so you’re not running back and forth to get whatever you need. Here’s what I use:

2. Spray toilet bowl and tub with cleaner and let it sit.

3. Clear off your counters and where ever you keep your shower stuff.

4. Spray all counters/surfaces (including toilet) with disinfectant spray and let it sit.

5. Sweep bathroom.

6. Wipe disinfectant off surfaces.

7. Spray and wipe any glass and mirrors with glass cleaner (remember that if your disinfectant contains bleach you have to be careful of mixing it with ammonia (usually in glass cleaner)).

8. Scrub tub and toilet with the toilet brush and then flush/rinse. (check out this post to learn the quickest way to clean hard water stains and soap scum!)

9. Use the Wet Jet to clean the floors.

10. DONE.

My bathroom is very small, and even with having to go get things I forgot three times (HOW?!) I finished in 7 minutes and 23 seconds, so I think it’s reasonable to say that even a decent sized bathroom can be finished in 10 minutes. If you have a crazy-giant Cribs-worthy bathroom, it will probably take a bit longer but I mean.. that’s what you get 😉 just kidding!

Hopefully, if you dread cleaning your bathroom as much as I do, this helps cut down on the time and frustration spent cleaning! (Oh, and if you use my #1 rule for a tidy home, you can probably also get your floors done or fold a load of laundry! Every little bit helps.)

So tell me- what room do you hate cleaning the most? Any tips for speed cleaning? Let me know in the comments!

You’re the best, because I HATE cleaning the bathroom. I’ll do any room but hate doing that one! It’s the worst, so I’ll definitely try this out 🙂

Cleaning bathrooms are the worst. I have a way to get it done even faster though. Bribe my husband into doing it 😉 Though, I will admit that generally ends up with me re-cleaning it in the near future.

This is such a good point! Daunting tasks are usually never as bad as I make them out to be in my mind. As someone who is really not interested in cleaning (haha), this is so helpful for me!

Under 8 minute! Impressive! I find that if I let the bathroom go longer than I should, it takes me longer to clean. But if I keep up with cleaning it every 7-10 days, it usually doesn’t take too much time. Thank you for sharing!

Great post! I think what takes me the longest in cleaning the bathroom is clearing off the counters and then putting it all back again! 🙂 Thanks for sharing! Blessings, Janet

Now if only my kids’ bathroom would STAY clean for 10 minutes after I’m finished! (I can usually keep them locked out of mine for longer than that afterward.)

Cleaning the bathroom is one of my least favorite jobs. I may just have to put this method to the test soon, though, since we’ve got a birthday party coming up before the end of the month!

Not so bad. I don’t mind this job…I mean if it is kept tidy just the deep cleaning needs to be done. Great tips.

I hate cleaning bathrooms… and yet we have two full baths and two 1/2 baths (seriously, what was I thinking?!) Luckily I have three boys so each week I tell the to pick a bathroom and we all tackle one at the same time. We just love our swiffer for fast floor cleaning.

The bathroom is the worst. So I always wait too long, and then it’s worse than worse! LOL Everything’s fine with me except for the bath/shower. My husband likes bar soap and the waxy film it leaves behind is a bear. I use baking soda to get it off, but it takes a scrubbing. A good scrubbing. Wanna come see if you can do it in 10 minutes? LOL I thought not! But I will use your lineup on the rest of the room, makes sense in this rotation to get it done quickly.

Next to the kitchen the bathroom is my least favorite to clean. You have your system down pat and I love it!

Great post Morgan. I’m a big believer in ‘incidental’ cleaning. I much prefer to clean as I go, ie when I’m in the shower, clean it. When I brush my teeth, clean the vanity. That sort of thing. I know if I miss it, it can seem like a daunting task but your post will help keep me in track. Thanks for linking up to Thriving on Thursdays a fortnight ago. (I couldn’t host last Thursday because my internet connection was down.) I’m featuring your post at tomorrow’s party. Thanks again for joining in each week.
