Happy Monday, friends! Here’s hoping you had a super fun weekend and a warm week ahead of you! We had a relatively uneventful weekend AND we actually got a little but MORE snow, but it looks like the week will be.. tolerable. I mean, 70’s or anything, but warmer.
Which is good, since today marks SPRING! Thank Goodness! I seriously hate winter. I think anyone who says they genuinely enjoy winter is lying to themselves. (kidding, winter lovers. You’re entitled to your (bizarre) opinions ;)) Anyway I’m sure you’re way tired of my babbling and just want to get on to the pictures of cute kids, amiright? Okay, let’s talk about the fun things and cute moments that happened this week!
I can’t get enough of these pictures from Owen’s birthday – I should have known he wouldn’t go for the whole smash thing and just eat the dang thing.
But don’t worry – we did get the typical ‘messy baby’ picture on his birthday, It just happened to be lunch and pasta.
Ryan is a big fan of helping me cook and bake, but if his favorite is the Kitchenaid. This is what happens when you leave a toddler with a Kitchenaid sans actually making something.
I’m way in love with these Spring Starbucks cups. They have a spot you can color/draw flowers, but I’m mostly in love with the color. This light blue color is my fave.
Did you do anything fun for St. Patrick’s Day? We did literally nothing, but I had fun shirts for the boys so why not. I’m kind of obsessed with Owen’s. PS my dog constantly photobombs everythinggggg
Also, I have the world’s goofiest kids.
I made Chicken Noodle Soup a few days ago (I even made homemade egg noodles, which are always a win.) and ate the leftovers with a grilled cheese. It was perfect, you guys. Perfect.
My dad and I took the boys to Toys R Us to get O a birthday present, but Ryan had the most fun there, obviously. He was way obsessed with these little houses and it was a “grab him and run out the door” situation to get out without any tantrums. If you’re wondering, my dad said a few people definitely looked at me like I was a kidnapper.
Finally, enjoy this photo of Owen at dinner last night and share my joy in learning that he is a guac fiend, just like his momma.
Alright, my friends – I’m off! How was your weekend? Tell me your favorite part about last week in the comments!

I’m hoping things warm up so this blasted snow can just leave and melt forever!!! We need some major sunshine and warmer temps!!! I never understand why anyone would like this either. I might say I love winter if I lived in southern Florida…that’s the only thing I can think of hahaha

Today is disgusting, but at least it is spring-type disgusting (rain, rather than the snow of last week). I had a little house like that and it was everything!
