36 Weeks.

When I was pregnant with Ryan, I was told that 36 weeks was when they wouldn’t even attempt to stop labor. How am I already at this point?!? I definitely feel like we just found out that it was another boy.

I’m actually loving this pregnancy even more than I did with Ryan. And I really loved being pregnant with Ryan, so that’s saying a lot. I don’t even really feel that “Oh man, it’s time, get out now,” feeling that IĀ definitely was feeling around now with Ryan. I know the end is definitely near because everything starting to feel how it did the last week or two with Ry, so I guess it’s time to finally name that baby…

Cravings and Aversions: I’m just combining these because neither is really prominent. I could really go for an iced coffee, though.

Weight: unknown. I’ll find out at my appointment this week.

New Things: I mentioned the other day that I’m living in contraction city. I actually thought for 2.5 seconds I was in labor the other day when I had some crazy low back pain and contractions for about an hour and a half. That was cool. Basically, it’s all really familiar with when I was pregnant with Ryan – lots of inconsistent, very uncomfortable, occasionally semi-painful contractions. So here’s hoping that this labor is similar to Ryan’s quick and only very painful at the end.

Preparation: Most of the baby stuff I ordered last week is now here and sitting in our house, nice and clean. I’m hoping to pack my hospital bag relatively soon and throw that in the car. I was so much more prepared with Ryan! I swear, I had a bag packed, everything bought and cleaned, 100% ready to go for 30 or 32 weeks. Oops.

I have a niece just weeks away from delivering her 4th and a granddaughter a couple of months away from delivering HER 4th. They’ve loved the process all the way through each time, even with the not-so-fun part. Congrats! How exciting šŸ™‚

Looking great! Haha, pack that bag sooner than later. I never got to pack mine due to berk’s early arrival. Tho looking back, I don’t think I really needed anything from it while I was at the hospital. Hoping these last few weeks (days?) go by smoothly and painlessly šŸ˜‰
